Australia's Portia de Rossi, she of the excessive blonde tresses, will join Christian Slater, Tim Allen, and Richard Dreyfuss in Cletis Tout this summer, while on her break from Ally McBeal.
Variety's Michael Fleming notes that De Rossi has also just finished Women in Film, Bruce Wagner's "seriocomic look at women in the film industry," with Beverly D'Angelo and Marianne Jean-Baptiste. (Now, Portia, we feel that we should warn you that a comedy with Allen, Dreyfuss, and Slater might not be a fabulous career move.)
