Van Morrison
Van Morrison (b. August 31, 1945) is the stage name of George Ivan Morrison, an Irish Rock 'n' Roller and exponent of the so-called Belfast Blues.
He came initially to prominence as a result of fronting the band he formed, Them[?], with whom he had a number of chart successes. After splitting from the band he then pursued a successful and idiosyncratic solo musical career. Probably his best-known song is "Brown-Eyed Girl."
