Treaty of Paris (1814)

The Treaty of Paris of 1814, signed on May 30, 1814, ended the war between France and the Quadruple Alliance of Great Britain, Russia, Austria, and Prussia. It also enforced the abdication of Napoleon I. France's borders were restored to those of 1792 but there was little punative action against France. The greater territorial reshaping of Europe was reserved for the Congress of Vienna.
