Thornbury is a town in South Gloucestershire, 11 miles north of Bristol. Its population is around 12,000 people.
Thornbury features a high street, a shopping centre, two supermarkets and several smaller shops around the town.
It has six primary schools and one secondary school.
Thornbury has an industrial estate at the south of the town. One of the industries there is essilor[?], a company who manufactures lenses for glasses.
Thornbury's most famous attraction is its castle. Thornbury Castle is now a hotel which attacts many visitors.
Other attractions include the Streamside Walk, Munday Playing Fields and the town pump.
