Svealand theory

The Svealand theory is the commonly held belief amongst most scholars that Gamla Uppsala in the county of Uppland, Sweden, was the location of the ancient pagan (heathen) temple of Asa-faith worshippers, i.e. the place which in earliest forms was written Ubsola.

The theory also includes the belief that Uppland and the Mälar-lake region was the original land of the tribe of Sveas.
