Stormy Weather
Stormy Weather is a 1943 musical film which tells the story of in flashback of a famous dancer who meets a young singer, both on the rise, whose lives intersect only briefly over the years. It stars Lena Horne[?], Bill Robinson[?], Cab Calloway, Katherine Dunham[?], Fats Waller, Fayard Nicholas[?], Harold Nicholas[?], Ada Brown[?] and Dooley Wilson[?].
The movie was adapted by Frederick J. Jackson[?], Ted Koehler[?] and H.S. Kraft[?] from the story by Jerry Horwin[?] and Seymour B. Robinson[?]. It was directed by Andrew L. Stone[?]. In 2001 the United States Library of Congress deemed the film "culturally significant" and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry.
Stormy Weather is also a 1995 novel by Carl Hiaasen.
