States of Austria

The States of Austria, or Bundesländer, are the federal states of Austria.

The nine Bundesländer are:

• Burgenland
• Carinthia (Kärnten)
• Lower Austria (Niederösterreich)
• Salzburg
• Styria (Steiermark)
• Tyrol (Tirol)
• Upper Austria (Oberösterreich)
• Vienna (Wien) (city-state)
• Vorarlberg
