Oguz Yilmaz
Oguz Yilmaz is a famous folk musician in Turkey. He was born and grew up in Ankara, Turkey. He lived and performed most of his life in a region of Ankara, called Sincan[?]. Therefore he is also known as Oguz from Sincan. His lyrics were controversial, educational and also entertaining. His musical style was a combination of traditional Turkish folk music with modern dance music.
His major hits include: "Bas Bas Paralari Leylaya", "Ankaranin Koclari", "Bartinin Guzelleri", "Usta", "Zalim Gurbet", "Misket", "Gotur", "Kaynana", and "Gordunmu".
