Ogier (Wheel of Time)
In Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time, Ogier are a race of non-human creatures who have an intense love on knowledge. They are also great warriors and architects who "grow" many of the most impressive structures in the world including White Bridge[?], Tar Valon and Way Gates[?].
Although there was a time when Ogier would fight side by side with humans, they are a peaceful race who now avoids humans to the point that many do not believe they exist. Ogier live in Steddings[?].
Ogier stand about 10 feet tall (described as half again as tall as a man). They have broad noses and long tufted ears.
