Lobster

Lobsters are large marine arthropods (biological classification Homarus americanus). They thrive in cold, shallow water, and are a popular food animal.

Lobsters are most commonly boiled or steamed; for either method, they must be alive until they are cooked (to avoid food poisoning). Lobsters can survive out of water for a few hours if kept in the refrigerator.
