Les Miserables (1935 movie)
Les Miserables is a 1935 film based upon the famous Victor Hugo novel. It was adapted by W.P. Lipscomb[?] and directed by Richard Boleslawski[?].
The film starred Fredric March as Jean Valjean, Charles Laughton as Inspector Javert, Rochelle Hudson[?] as Cosette[?], Florence Eldridge[?] as Fantine and John Beal[?] as Marius.
The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture and the Academy Award for Film Editing.
