With Mood[?], Hi-Tek had a regional hit with "Hustle on the Side" and he then began working with Talib Kweli and Mos Def on Black Star and then with Kewli for Reflection Eternal (2000, 2000 in music), a surprising crossover success. His latest is Hi-Teknology[?] from 2001 (see 2001 in music).
