Gun Crazy (also known as Deadly is the Female) is a 1949 film noir film about a couple who go on a cross-country killing spree. It stars Peggy Cummins[?], John Dall[?] and Berry Kroeger[?].
The movie was written by MacKinlay Kantor[?] and, in the credits, Millard Kaufman[?]. In fact, though, Hollywood Blacklist[?] member Dalton Trumbo was the real co-writer. It was directed by Joseph H. Lewis[?].
The film has been selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
