Friedrichshafen
Friedrichshafen is a town on the north side of Lake Constance in southern Germany. It is capital of the Bodenseekreis in Baden-Württemberg. Geographical location 47° 39' North, 9° 30' East; population 199,286 (2000).
The Zeppelin air-ship company was based here and there is a Zeppelin
museum in the town beside the lake. Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin was
born in a nearby town.
The town is growing due to an expanding local airport which has a daily international flight by RyanAir[?] to London Stansted Airport.
There are ferry services between Friedrichshafen and other towns around the
lake.
