Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy

Redirected from Emmaneul Philibert of Savoy Emmanuel Philibert (b.July 8, 1528-d.August 30, 1580), surnamed the Iron Head, was the Duke of Savoy from 1553-1580.

He married Margaret of Valois, daughter of François I of France and sister of Henri II of France and had several children including Carlo Emanuele I.
