Babe (movie)
Babe (also known as Babe, the Gallant Pig) is a 1995 fantasy film which tells the story of a talking pig who wants to be a herding dog. It stars James Cromwell[?] and the voices of Christine Cavanaugh[?], Miriam Margolyes[?], Hugo Weaving, Miriam Flynn[?], Russi Taylor[?] and Roscoe Lee Browne[?].
The movie was adapted by George Miller and Chris Noonan[?] from the novel The Sheep Pig by Dick King-Smith[?]. It was directed by Noonan.
It won the Academy Award for Visual Effects, and was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (James Cromwell), Best Art Direction-Set Decoration, Best Director, Best Film Editing, Best Picture and Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium.
Babe was followed by a 1998 sequel, Babe: Pig in the City[?].
