Armenian numerals
The system of Armenian numerals is a
numeral system originating using the (capital) letters of the ancient Armenians. There was no notation for zero, and the numeric values for individual letters was added together. Since not all browsers can render Unicode Armenian letters, their phonetic equivalents are also given in this table.
Note that the final two letters of the Armenian alphabet, "o" (Օ) and "fe" (Ֆ) were added later to facilitate transliteration of other languages after Arabic numerals came into use, and so they have no assigned numerical value.
