Argumentum ad nauseam

Argumentum ad nauseam or Argument from repetition is the false conception that a statement is likely to be true if it has been repeated over and over many times, possibly by different people. This logical fallacy is commonly used as a form of rhetoric by politicans. In its extreme form, it is also attributed as a type of brainwashing.
