Analog television

Analog television represents different image brightness levels by different voltages. Used in distinction to digital television.

All early television standards were analog in nature, and digital television systems derive much of their structure from the need to be compatible with analog television.

Analog television standards include:

• PAL
• NTSC
• SECAM
