Aladdin (movie)

Aladdin (1992) is an animated Disney movie telling a version of the story of Aladdin and the magic lamp from The Arabian Nights.

Songs were by Alan Menken[?] and Howard Ashman[?]. One of the verses of the opening song "Arabian Nights" was censored because of political sensitivity. Following protests from the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) the lyrics were changed in July 1993 from "Where they'll cut off your nose if they don't like your face/It's barbaric, but, hey, it's home," in the original release to "Where it's flat and immense and the heat is intense/It's barbaric, but, hey, it's home."

Voice actors included Robin Williams as the genie.
