Agana, Guam

Agana (actually pronounced Agaña) was the name of the capital of Guam until 1998, when the territorial legislature changed the name to Hagåtña to more closely match the Chamorro/Chamoru[?] pronunciation. According to the 2000 US Census, the village has a population of 1,100.

Guam is an unincorporated territory of the United States of America.
