The Games of the IV Olympiad were held in 1908 in London, England. They were probably the most contentious in history. The American party was held in scorn, their flag not even present at Shepherd Bush stadium (which, incidentally, held 68,000 people, so it was a technological marvel for the time, since it was new and all), and it rained all the time.
