Reality TV ratings go through roof

If there was any doubt that reality television had gone off the boil, it was dispelled in the latest Oztam ratings survey.
Nearly 3 million viewers tuned into the final episode of Big Brother 4, making it the second most popular season for the Big Brother series so far.
Nine’s The Block also scored through the roof with over 2.2 million viewers nationwide.
And the Idol phenomenon shows no signs of fizzing out, with over 1.7 million people watching the Top 100 episode.
The national top 20 TV shows were:
