Channel Seven’s Idol clone, Popstars Live, has brought together three former pop idols as it’s judging panel.

John Paul Young, Christine Anu (currently seen on Ten’s Summer promo) and Bachelor Girl’s Tania Doko will scout the country for our newest popstars.

Seven promises Popstars Live will be significantly different to Ten’s Australian Idol, and more dynamic than the previous three versions of Popstars.

180 finalists will be picked from the thousands expected at state auditions around the country over the next couple of weeks.
