Ten is the first to step in and fix up the mess that is reality TV.

Following the dismal ratings of The HotHouse, The Resort and Seven’s My Restaurant Rules, Ten will cut one HotHouse episode off its six episode a week schedule.

Sunday night’s elimination will be moved to Monday at 7pm, followed by a one hour edition of Newlyweds (Punk’d is being rested).

No word yet on the fate of either The Resort or My Restaurant Rules. Ten is planning to inject some Idol fever into The Resort however, with a special Australian Idol edition of The Resort airing soon.
