Australia’s newest superstar will be climbing mountains to get to London later this month.

Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian has announced he will sing ‘Climb Every Mountain’ from The Sound Of Music at the World Idol contest in London.

Many believe it was the 60’s show tune that won Sebastian the Australian competition.

Sebastian is currently 2nd favourite to take out the title, behind American Idol Kelly Clarkson and ahead of the original Idol, UK’s Will Young.

World Idol will air 7.30pm Friday December 26th on Network Ten, with the verdict a week later.
