Christian Bale: Bale as Bruce

The Z Review has scored a batch of photos from the British set of Batman Begins, including the first look at Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne.

The scene being filmed, according to the script I've read, appears to be a party where millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne arrives with not one but two beauties. This is, of course, to solidify his reputation as an irresponsible man-about-town and ward off any suspicion of him really being The Dark Knight.

Not to be outdone, Batman-on-Film has also posted some pics from the Canary Wharf set. Their shots include a look at the Gotham City Police Department, as well as the revelation of what kind of car Bruce Wayne drives.

A reader on BoF's forum has posted a digital rendering, based on the latest gossip, of what they think the batsuit will look like. You can check it out here.

Finally, according to this Katie Holmes fansite, the actress' boyfriend Chris Klein (American Pie) advised Entertainment Tonight recently that Holmes is now in London filming her scenes for Batman Begins. Video of Klein's ET appearance can be found here.

Ironically enough, Holmes' next film is First Daughter where she portrays the child of the U.S. President, played by ex-Batman Michael Keaton.

Batman Begins reportedly opens June 17, 2005.
