Let's add these two whispers to our (growing) list of 'Sale Of The Century' rumours.

Could former 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' host, Daryl Somers, be up for the top hosting job on the new-look 'Sale'? According to our network spies, Somers is first in line to become Nine's newest quizmaster.

Daryl Somers is no stranger to quiz shows. He hosted a successful version of 'Family Fued' in the early 80's, and a less-than-successful series of 'Blankety Blanks'.

And let's add two more contenders to the all important side-kick hostess gig. Jo Beth Taylor (who is also rumoured to be associated with Ten's 'Australian Idol') and - wait for it folks - the newcomer described as Australia's newest 'every-woman', Regina from 'Big Brother'. It is believed the producers may either go totally glam (Jo Ashton / Jo Beth Taylor) or try and find someone with the quirky qualities of Victoria Nicholls (Reggie?).

Stay tuned.
