FISHING AUSTRALIA host Rob Paxevanos visits Huskisson near Jervis Bay on the south coast of New South Wales and hooks some top-rate tuna this Saturday, 19 July at 5.30pm on WIN.
 
Rob is a regular visitor to the south coast region where the fishing is fantastic, the people are extra friendly and this time he’s lucky enough to test out the new Whittley Cruiser 2180.
 
Meet two of Rob’s mates, Mud-eye Mick and Phil Brumby, who used to take Rob fly fishing in the Snowy Mountains.  Now it’s time for Rob to repay the favour.  Luckily, the Tuna are biting and Mud-eye Mick lands his first Tuna ever.
 
Rob reminisces about the time he caught a marlin from his Hobie kayak and decides to throw the Hobie back in the water and see what he can catch a second time around – turns out he lands a Tuna. 
 
“After all the fun that I had catching a Marlin last time, I had to have another crack at it and it paid off,” Rob said.  “I caught a nice Yellowfin Tuna.”
 
Rob also tests the Whittley Cruiser out on Jervis Bay with the local Finney family who reveal some local knowledge and treat us to a spectacular tour of their local waterways.
 
Then it’s off to St Georges Basin where Rob and young fishing fan, Elspeth Finney, take on some big tailor.
