Sunrise yesterday announced the signing of Fifi Box.  Fifi is one of Australia’s best known broadcasters and comedians.
 
Fifi – Currently with The Shebang on Austereo’s Tripple M – will join David Koch, Melissa Doyle, Natalie Barr and Mark Baretta on the Sunrise team from early next year.  Fifi finishes up with The Shebang and Tripple M at the end of the year.
 
Fifi will be a key member of Australia’s most-watched breakfast television programme, now in its fifth consecutive year of leadership.
 
Fifi is perhaps best-known on television for her standout performance on Dancing with the Stars in 2007 and regular guest appearances on Sunrise and Thank god You’re Here.
 
Announcing Fifi’s signing, Adam Boland, Director, Morning TV and Strategic Initiatives, said:  “To us, Fifi was the obvious choice.  She’s down to earth, never afraid to have fun and clearly not scared of early mornings.  Most of all, she has a dynamic personality which we know Australians love.  She’s already a good mate to all of us at Sunrise – so we can’t wait for her to start.
