The Biggest Loser Finale delivers big fat ratings.. over 2 million!

Yesterday's season finale of The Biggest Loser brought TEN's best night of 2007 and the year's top rated show in all major demographics. Over 2 million people tuned in to watch Chris take the $200,000 prize and be crowned 'The Biggest Loser 2007'.

The season finale aired for two hours 20 minutes and won its timeslot in every major demographic:

Getaway/Missing Person Unit - 9 14.8% 13.8% 43.7% 895k

The program's peak was 2.66 million viewers.

David Mott, TEN's chief programming officer said: "The series ratings have yet again been spectacular. All Biggest Loser episodes from the Sunday Weigh-In, Monday Elimination and 7pm daily episodes commanded very powerful 18-49 demographic and often won in total people.

"Carl Fernessy and his team at FremantleMedia and TEN's executive producer, Cathie Scott delivered a first class production and I'm delighted to announce that The Biggest Loser will return in 2008."

The Biggest Loser Elimination and the Tue-Fri shows have consistently outperformed the competition in their timeslot in all major demographics. Sunday's Weigh-In has been highly competitive in 18-49 in its timeslot:
