Channel 10 have a great line-up of new episodes of some of viewers favourite shows that will appeal to the 16-30 age group with very few repeats airing.

Glee will continue with new episodes on Sunday nights. 13 episodes were produced for the first arc of the season and Ten will fast track and play them out.

Ten will also serve up double new episodes of Supernatural as well as all new episodes of Futurama and the US version of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader.

In an unusual move Nurse Jackie moves to 1am to play out its final 2 episodes. I say unusual because why would the network keep the show on at 10pm in the ratings season despite its poor performance but then do something about it and shift to 1am in summer?

Numb3rs returns with new episodes as well as The Office now in primetime two nights per week. White Collar (which premise looks great) continues after its preview following the Celebrity Masterchef finale.

A couple of new programs that actually look pretty good are The Cleveland Show and Accidently on Purpose.

Californication and Law and Order also return with new episodes.

Probably the strongest of the commercial networks, Ten’s summer is looking pretty good.

There are a few notable omissions. Burn Notice is taking a break despite having more episodes to air and there is no sign of Law and Order: UK that was yanked earlier this year. Was also expecting perhaps unaired episodes of The Ex List, Bondi Rescue Bali, Download, Guerilla Gardeners and 90210 and maybe even The Shield. Ten are using their midnight slots to air repeats of shows like Medium and House andNumb3rs. I will put to the network why they don’t use some of this product in those slots instead and re update this story.
