Sunrise to 'Spread The Love' again
Author: eNews staff and agencies | Dec 13, 2005, 16:03

SMS the love!
In the heat of the current racial riots in Sydney, Seven's early morning breakfast show, Sunrise, will re-launch its campaign to 'Spread the Love'.

The show will focus on ways to embrace peace and more tolerance.

Sunrise Executive Producer Adam Boland says it may not solve the current crisis in Sydney - but it's an important step.

"The media cops plenty of flak during times like this. Some of it is justified. We think the media does have a role to play - so it's time we start sending out positive messages.

"Tomorrow's show will be dedicated to ways we can restore the love. We can all make a difference, so let's start doing it.

"If one text message can start a riot, then why can't the media restore calm?"
