IT TAKES TWO is a weekly live entertainment show that sees ten celebrities not known for singing, paired with some of Australia’s finest singers as they embark on the experience of a life-time. Every week each couple will sing a duet backed by a live band.

A panel of judges will give feedback to each couple every week and their scores, combined with the audience vote, will determine which couple will be crowned series’ champions.

Channel Seven is delighted to confirm who will be sitting at the judges table from Sunday May 28:

Marina Prior is known as Australia’s Leading Lady of Musical Theatre. She recorded platinum and gold selling albums and has received numerous industry awards. Most recently she has been honoured with induction into Australia’s 100 Entertainers of the Century.

James Valentine played saxophone and woodwinds with Jo Camilleri, Kate Ceberano and Steven Cummings before joining The Models. James is an author of the JumpMan series and has written for publications including Rolling Stone, Vogue and the Australian and is currently heard every afternoon on ABC radio in Sydney.

Amanda Pelman has over 22 years experience in the entertainment industry as an Artist Manager, Casting Director and Live Entertainment Producer. For 11 years Amanda worked at Mushroom Records with Michael Gudinski, signing a young Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan. She co-founded the Body Beat and Melodian Record Labels with Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum, signing Peter Andre and Jo Beth Taylor.

Ross Wilson’s career spans 40 years and he remains one of this country's most respected artists. From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock, as a solo artist, a songwriter of A-grade classics such as "Eagle Rock", “Come Back Again”, “Cool World” and "A Touch of Paradise", and producer of the legendary Skyhooks and Jo Jo Zep, Ross's involvement with success has continued unabated into the 21st century.

It Takes Two is the Australian version of the BBC format “Just The Two Of Us” and is a co-production between BBC Worldwide and Seven.
