7th Heaven: Saying goodbye
After 10 seasons on air in the United States, the wholesome family drama 7th Heaven will be no more.

WB has given notice to all members of cast and crew, indicating that the finale will be given a monumental send-off.

"We're announcing this decision now to ensure a monumental send-off for this series, which has become one of the most important shows in the network's history," WB's David Janollari says.

"We owe a compelling and unforgettable final season to the Camden family and to the millions of viewers who helped grow this program into a huge hit."

7th Heaven premiered on The WB in August 1996 and went on to become the channels longest running series, and the longest running family drama in TV history.

Network Ten screens the series here in Australia, usually over Summer.
