Snowy 4 by 4

1999 June: The Toyota Prado 4x4 remained little changed for 1999 since its Australian debut in 1996. To gee things up a bit, Toyota has produced a Prado "Snowy" Limited Edition to tie in with its promotion of the 50th anniversary of the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme. The Snowy is based on the V6 Prado GXL and is said to carry 2,500 in extra equipment; prices are 46,433 (manual) and 48,853 (auto').
