in Laverton, Melbourne.
Suzuki make SWB and LWB versions of the
Vitara.
Long known as builders of small cars and 4WDs, the LWB Vitara has
5 seats and a 2.5L V6 option. Suddenly it is not so small any more.
The Vitara is sold in the USA as the Chevrolet (was Geo)
Tracker.
The competition is the likes of Honda's CR-V, Toyota's RAV4.
Suzuki's other main lines of 4WD are the more basic
Jimny and
Sierra
also rebadged and sold as the
(GM) Holden Drover in Australia.
