Steyr Daimler Puch
are manufacturers of some unique and capable
all wheel drive vehicles.
Dating from 1958 to 1976
the Haflinger
is a pocket-size 4WD that four strong men can lift.
The Pinzgauer,
made as a 4x4 and a 6x6, is the Haflinger's younger
but bigger brother.
As well as making their own 4x4s and 6x6s in the factory at Graz Austria,
Steyr Daimler Puch have also made the
G-wagen for Mercedes Benz,
4x4 vans for VW,
4WD transmission for the
Fiat Panda,
and are assembling the
Jeep Grand Cherokee.
As if 1997 they are also building the 4WD transmission of the
Land Rover Freelander.
They contributed much of the know how for the US Army's
FMTV 4x4 and 6x6 trucks.

Holden Astra Convertible Turbo(Highly recommended sports car), from $49,990
This European convertible is a stunning car in so many ways. It's a great drive (with high performance 147kw Turbo). It's practical and apart from a small boot has abundant room for 4 or 5 at a pinch. It's loaded with standard features: air, power windows / steer, cruise, 6 speaker CD, ABS, traction control, airbags & more. It also looks great! My Managing Director's lovely wife owns one of these & I have no hesitation in recommending this car to you. A true bargain for a high performance Euro Convertible.
