These M35A3 2 1/2 ton trucks are being remanufactured for the US Army National Guard.

They are having the same engine and transmission as the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) fitted.

An air-ram lends power assistance to the steering (left).

New single tandem-axle bogies are on the rear (old axles reused, new hubs) with a central tire inflation system (CTIS).
