Four Wheel Drive

Land Rover : Series I to Series III.

| Special Promotion |

The series Land Rovers span 1948 to 1983, 1947 to 1985 if the pre-production series-ones LandRover and the tail of series-three stage-1 are counted. The short wheel base (SWB) models grew from an 80" wheel-base to 88" and the long wheel base (LWB) models grew from 107" to 109". There were also the SIIA and SIIB forward-control (FC) models, the military "light-weight", "one-ton" and other variations. Engines grew from 1.6L 4-cylinders to 2.25L 4-cylinders and 2.6L 6-cylinders and finally 3.5L V8. All series Land Rovers had leaf springs and drum brakes at each corner. Items such as passenger-side windscreen wipers were optional extras on the first utilitarian models but series two and three station wagons (SW) achieved a good degree of comfort - 4wd.sofcom.com/LandRover/Landy.html

Holden Astra Convertible Turbo(Highly recommended sports car), from $49,990
This European convertible is a stunning car in so many ways. It's a great drive (with high performance 147kw Turbo). It's practical and apart from a small boot has abundant room for 4 or 5 at a pinch. It's loaded with standard features: air, power windows / steer, cruise, 6 speaker CD, ABS, traction control, airbags & more. It also looks great! My Managing Director's lovely wife owns one of these & I have no hesitation in recommending this car to you. A true bargain for a high performance Euro Convertible.
