1999, October: A prototype Jensen S-V8 is shown at the London Motor Show. If it goes into production it will compete with sports cars such as TVR. (The Jensen name is owned by `Creative Group' automotive engineering and design consultants.)
1966: The Jensen FF with the race-proven Formula Ferguson four wheel drive system, and Dunlop Maxaret anti-lock brakes, sets new safety standards for road cars. It was in production until 1971.
The diagram (right) shows the principles of the 4WD system and transfer case; it is schematic only, and not to scale! Torque is split front to rear 37:63, unless wheel-spin occurs.
