Fairlaine Ghia
LTD
1999 July,
Ford Fairlane LTD goes on sale.
The new LTD has a 185, 412 V8 motor,
or the 6-cylinder motor, as in the Fairlane Ghia.
A new Smartshield vehicle immobilisation system is fitted
to keep it in your possession;
Apparently,
Smartshield became standard on Falcon passenger and light commercial
vehicles from 7 June '99.
Traction control is fitted and rear suspension
is independent by "multi-links".
The LTD's styling tames the controversial
"Edge" styling of the Falcon AU
upon which the Fairlane is based.
Distinguishing features are the grille,
16" wheels, electric sunroof,
and all-leather seats which are electrically adjustable,
Airbags for the driver and front passenger
are standard.
Holden Astra Convertible Turbo(Highly recommended sports car), from $49,990
This European convertible is a stunning car in so many ways. It's a great drive (with high performance 147kw Turbo). It's practical and apart from a small boot has abundant room for 4 or 5 at a pinch. It's loaded with standard features: air, power windows / steer, cruise, 6 speaker CD, ABS, traction control, airbags & more. It also looks great! My Managing Director's lovely wife owns one of these & I have no hesitation in recommending this car to you. A true bargain for a high performance Euro Convertible.
