Brett Gadeke's
VN Commodore station wagon with a
GQ Patrol
coil chassis, V8, automatic gearbox, and 4-wheel disc brakes.
Brett reports that "it drives and handles better than any other
overlander conversion.
Offroad Options have these vehicles available to
the general public in a drive in drive out package.
We can modify VN-VT wagons.
Cost is POA but a general estimate is approx 25,000 for a complete conversion.
As this is a substantial investment full customer participation
is encouraged."

NB. The original
Overlander
4x4 was based on the GM Holden H-series vehicles
as originally modified by Overlander Motor Co Pty Ltd of Tasmania.
As of 2000, it is said that Holden and Ford are seriously considering
putting 4x4 versions of their big cars,
the Commodore and Falcon respectively, into production
with prototypes and engineering studies in existence.
Holden Astra Convertible Turbo(Highly recommended sports car), from $49,990
This European convertible is a stunning car in so many ways. It's a great drive (with high performance 147kw Turbo). It's practical and apart from a small boot has abundant room for 4 or 5 at a pinch. It's loaded with standard features: air, power windows / steer, cruise, 6 speaker CD, ABS, traction control, airbags & more. It also looks great! My Managing Director's lovely wife owns one of these & I have no hesitation in recommending this car to you. A true bargain for a high performance Euro Convertible.
