i have been looking for a dachshund for 2 years now and still have not found one. Well i have, just very pricey. I was wondering if anyone has a cheap but young male dachshund or knows where i could get one?[/color]

checked out a few online sites for placing dogs...and you are right.
So expensive. $400 to $1000 a pup. No give away ones.
Hope you do better on forums/word of mouth.

I would recommend the breeder I got mine from. They are located in Gippsland Victoria but will air freight the pups to you, or meet you in Melbourne if you live in Victoria. They have a new round of puppies every 6 months or so, so it is worth emailing them just to express your interest. They are around $750-$1000 and worth every penny.

Keep your eyes open and one will come along soon.
