I can assure you that I meant no malice in what I wrote and I am positive Paula did not either. I have been away for 10 days and to come back and read comments like this is ridiculous.
If you feel you have to leave, so be it, but please dont blame the site or posts by others as reasons you are doing so...

I made a contribution to support a newby who was going to leave.  I thought it was in the best interests of the forum.

So I made a mistake, sorry...

I apologized to Dara privately, however I can't really let it go completely without attempting to also express her beauty.  I'll be back soon with poetry.  For now, we all love you, Hottie, and anyone who doesn't should be transfered to a usb stick, taken out to the desert...

Suzi it'll surely be a bummer when the next song contest rolls around.  Sorry if I came off rude earlier.  I was having one of my moments.

Thank you dean for your insights. It was an emotional reaction on my part. I admit I get angry and disappointed at the lack of cohesion and support from two other Mods. But... who is saffron and why did she get so dirty when all I wanted was a clear reason why she had the opinion that it was 'child exploitation at it's worst'? I only asked the question of her because so many people flit in with a short post and then not return. In fact I and a couple of others doubt saffron, as a person, exists.
I will be staying because I received more than a few emails and PM's asking me to. Paula has admitted to having me on her block list which to me just shows the lack of support and cohesion of the four moderators. One ex member left because they were incensed that the two 'older' mods were bullying me and being nasty to me around 12 months ago. This is a young lady who was a great member and I miss her presence  very much.
So the upshot is you are stuck with me and you can like it or lump it.

I do wish all these melodramatic outbursts would stop, they are all so unnecessary, especially on the open forum. They only tend to cause unrest among the members and bad feeling on the forum.
If anyone has a grouch against me, personally or in my Mod position I wish they would do so by PM, I never have anyone on block and will listen to any complaints.

I've had people on block due to abuse, threats and accusations...

On topic, apparently one of the kids on this show is a sibling of a former student, or so the gossip on Facebook tells me.

Remember those who like to watch this show.... tonight at 7:30 to 9pm on 10, the second in the series will air. One guide says 7:30 to 8:30pm and another says 7:30 to 9pm your guess is as good as mine. ***shrugs***

And gossip it was.  His mother tells me her son didn't get past the 'audition phase'.

Junior MasterChef whips X Factor in ratings

The Seven Network may have spent a rumoured $25 million on bringing The X Factor back to life, but it seems adorable children and the MasterChef format are proving an unbeatable recipe.

The first of The X Factor live shows attracted only 1.095 million viewers on Sunday night - only marginally up on the 1.074 million who tuned in last week.

In the same time slot of 7:30pm, Junior MasterChef beat and scrambled the competition, reaching 1.748 million viewers to make it the most popular show of the night.

However, the ratings for Junior MasterChef are down on last week's when the series premiered to 2.2 million viewers.

For the second week in a row, the MasterChef Australia spin-off was the star attraction of a very successful night for Network Ten.

Immediately prior to Junior MasterChef, Modern Family scored 952,000 for a repeat, then 1.218 million for a new episode.

Immediately after Junior MasterChef comedy drama Offspring reached 990,000 people.

ABC1's Midsomer Murders also had a good night, attracting 1.354 million viewers.
