John Terry faces new allegations just days after losing the England captaincy.

SHAMED England footballer John Terry's woes continue to escalate, with reports that the sacked captain paid off four mistresses in the wake of his affair.

According to the Herald Sun, Terry has been at pains to protect his reputation from any further damage, following his swift sacking from the England captaincy last Friday.

Now the UK's News of the World reports that the footballer paid his former mistress Vanessa Perroncel nearly $1.5million to keep her silence, and has instructed his advisors to approach a string of other women who might be tempted to sell their stories.

The Chelsea star has been bunkered up with lawyers, advisors and other associates as they strategise how best to deal with the fall-out following revelations that Terry had an affair with the former partner of his teammate Wayne Bridge and paid for her to have an abortion.

Originally, Perroncel had signed a confidentiality contract, for a nominal $2 sum, with the final amount to be agreed later. Once the media started offering her huge amounts, her price went up, but Terry's almost limitless chequebook was able to cope with this, to the tune of $1.5million.

Meanwhile, Terry's standing with his teammates has also been dented. Wayne Bridge is reported to have told the England manager that, while he'll continue to play alongside Terry, he "doesn't want him as my captain, because I've lost all respect for him".

Other England players are believed to have made their similar views known, so Terry will struggle to shine at the World Cup in South Africa.

His wife Toni Poole continues to sit it out in Dubai, being photographed poolside in a telling T-shirt - on the front "I love the chaos" - on the back "I hate the confusion".

In some good news for Terry, his football doesn't seem to have suffered, with another sterling performance for Chelsea at the weekend, and his manager there proclaiming his match performance as "perfect".

I wonder if these sex mad men use protection and if not how many diseases they are responsible for spreading?
