I have not watched one episode of Modern Family. My best friend has and loves it. I truly cannot stand the actor who plays Phil Dunphy and never particularly liked Ed O'Neill and the overly dramatic melodrama Queen, Cameron just drives me nuts. I indulge my whimsy with Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters I don't need to watch another US comedy type show. I love MasterChef
Modern family is quite funny not as good as Big Bang or How I met your mother, I think CBS looked at the comedy style and pace of The Office and worked out their own show based on that.
"To the rational mind, nothing is inexplicable; only unexplained. " The Doctor
See... I love the Big Bang Theory and at times watch How I met your Mother (The awesomeness of Barney) but... I think I'd rather GLEE than Modern Family. The guy who plays Cameron's gay partner is really gay, just to add.

Packed to the Rafters is packing the viewers in again. Plenty of glee for Glee!! Along with all it's music sales. Doc Martin ...OMG!!! Great to see in Top 10, but how did that happen?
LAST night's finale of MasterChef cooked up massive ratings as expected, making the reality show the most-watched non-sporting event ever shown on Australian television. A peak of 4.348 million viewers across the five capital cities tuned in to watch Adam Liaw beat Callum Hann to win $100,000 and a cookbook publishing deal. The show averaged 3.962 million metropolitan viewers nationally a peak audience of 4.348m. Factoring in regional viewing, the peak figure rose to more than 5.7 million. It was the third highest rating TV show since OzTAM figures began in 2001, behind only the Lleyton Hewitt v Marat Safin 2005 Australian Open tennis final (4.045 million average) and the 2003 Rugby World Cup Final (4.016 million).
Last year’s finale averaged 3.72 million with a peak of 4.1 million.
I cannot believe how well 'Rafters' does Do people just like to watch drivel? Michael Caton is the only one whose character I can stand. I didn't watch 'Hawke' because I got enough of it in real life in my 30's
