Um, new one.  I got the chance to get a percentage of USD 75,000,000 from someone in "Togo".  However, this was sent to my email address from "EBLAH".  Luckily my spam filter picked up.  Does this mean you have been hacked as how would they know my email address when I don't use it to login to EBLAH.

I got that email too SBro and it seems their account has been removed.

Ah, so that's how they got it.  I've got it in my personal message thing as well so just about to clear it.

Is there a setting I should activate so I don't get this sort of thing again.

They sent it to my regular hotmail I use for junk mail (Mainly) and from there I sent it to my 'dontspamemoron' account which says it all. Then I replied to erictofu ( ) and told him that his email had been forwarded to The Australian Federal Police and the Australian Fraud Squad and for him to have a nice day I don't use my hotmail acc as my primary email and thought I was being left out but NO! Joy of joys there it was awaiting my perusal. I read one line and said 'you MUST be choking'!

All I got was  PM, so I sent it one back, copied it in a PM to Glen, clicked the "remove user" button (which I'd only recently even noticed) and voila, it's a guest.

I wasn't sure where to post this...but I just got a PM from a scammer. Anyone else get one? And, although I know this part of the post should go in the suggestion forum, I think we should have an option to report PM's...unless there already is one and I just haven't found it.

There was some more spam by another user today, mainly in PMs.  The user has been banned.

Yes good on you suzi, I to rang over here. So thanks for the info. We have the A.T.M. scammers working over time here at the moment. I think Tasman's statement might be right. Getting rid of rthese low lifes is not easy. they prey on the innocent and vulnerable.There are sleezes and rip off merchants every where. Even on a web site like this one, they filter through. Just like to say we finally have rain. My thoughts are with all those over there in Queensland who have lost their property. Some are begging for rain whilst some are being flooded out yet again. Thank you! If everyone decided not to stand up and be counted or oppose the scammers and rip-off merchants in this world, then the World would be taken over by thieves and criminals. Each one of us must be heard/seen opposing these horrible people. Those who would take the money we earned legally and through hard work are lower than a snakes belly. I know it doesn't seem like much but... it's a bit like recycling, I believe everyone should recycle and am a little bit of a control freak about it but every little bit helps.
