The huge craze. When they cast Cedric Diggory I said he was way uglier than he was meant to be. So now, I don't get the fuss over him. I haven't read the books though. I will sometime but, they don't seem to be very well written..
Who's a fan of the books?
And will you see the movie?

True What is his personality like then? Apparently the girl is really negative about doing interviews and stuff. I only just realised she is the girl from Zathura and Catch That Kid. :O

Did you like it Dara?

I read the book before I saw the film and I wasn't disappointed.
I'm loving the Twilight series, but feel very stupid for doing so as I'm 22  ..

Oh yes Dara do tell

I dunno about seeing the movie. I have a friend who is obsessed with it (didn't help that I bought her 2 of the books for christmas) and yeah, doesn't seem like my type of movie, I've been over vampires since I was like 10.

TWILIGHT

Starring: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson..
Genre :  Drama, Horror, Mystery, Romance, Thriller, Western
Quality : DVD9
Discs : 1
Original Year  : 27
Release Date  : 2009-04-01
Language : English
Subtitle : Chinese, English
Descriptions : Seventeen-year-old Bella Swan moves to Forks, a small town on Washington state's rugged coast, to live with her father, Charlie, after her mother remarries to a minor league baseball player. She is quickly befriended by many students at her new high school, but she is intrigued by the mysterious and aloof Cullen siblings. Bella sits next to Edward Cullen in biology class on her first day of school; he appears to be disgusted by her, much to Bella's confusion. A few days later, Bella is nearly struck by a van in the school parking lot. Edward inexplicably moves from some feet away and stops the vehicle with his hand. He later refuses to explain this act to Bella and warns her against befriending him.

After much research, Bella eventually discovers that Edward is a vampire, though he only consumes animal blood. The pair fall in love and Edward introduces Bella to his vampire family, Carlisle, Esme, Alice, Jasper, Emmett, and Rosalie. Soon after, three nomadic vampires—James, Victoria, and Laurent—arrive. James, a tracker vampire, is intrigued by Edward's protectiveness over a human and wants to hunt Bella for sport. Edward and his family risk their lives to protect her, but James tracks Bella to Phoenix where she is hiding and lures her into a trap by claiming he is holding her mother hostage. James attacks Bella and bites her wrist, but Edward, along with the other Cullen family members, arrives before he can kill her. James is destroyed, and Edward sucks James's venom from Bella's wrist, preventing her from becoming a vampire. A severely injured Bella is taken to a hospital. Upon returning to Forks, Bella and Edward attend their school prom. While there, Bella expresses her desire to become a vampire, which Edward refuses. The film ends with Victoria secretly watching the pair dancing, plotting revenge for her lover James' murder.

Well...I finally got to watch movie yersterday...and was a little disapointed. Not as good as most other vampire movies..some good one liners and the 'first kiss' scene was good..but overall...not worth buying, I think.

I haven't read the book, but saw the movie and can't see what the fuss is about myself.  It was ok, but not as good as all the hype made it out to be.  Apparently the books are terrific and addictive and you can't put them down... if so, they'd wanna be a whole lot better than the movie!

Don't spend your time comparing it to the book. If you just sit there comparing the book and the movie, you'll take the fun out of the movie itself. If you are a book reader, reading Midnight Sun really helps understand Edward's reactions and such. This is the best movie I've seen that has stayed the closest to the book as much as it could. I do understand why they made a few changes to please some of the moviegoers who haven't read the book. It ties things in a different but acceptable way. I loved how they interpreted the book. I understand that it was a teen movie so of course there was a little cheesiness at times. But hey, the book is geared towards a teen audiences regardless of the wide age range that actually reads it. Star Wars Movies DVD I think Summit did a good job and should make New Moon.

I've never read the books, but I quite enjoyed 'Twilight'.

Based on what I've seen in the 'New Moon' trailers, it's nothing like how I expected the series go. It looks so big and grand, with the whole vampire council thing.

I kinda liked how small and intimate the first film was.

I guess I'll have to wait and see with 'New Moon'.

I was at a local Woolworth's Supermarket on the sunny coast last thursday and the young man on the check out named Dan, looks like the main actor, Robert Pattinson in Twilight... except 50% better/hotter/cooler. Dan was very mature and conversant. A lovely young man who would do his family proud.
Honestly, this young man belongs in fashion magazines. His hair is even cooler than 'Edward's'.

Went to see New Moon the other week....it was good (well if you don't worry about the story not following the book). The theatre was packed..so guess it has a big following.

Jacob lost my interest once he cut his beautiful hair...and thats all I have to say...I don't want to spoil it for those who have yet to see it.

His hair is longish and mussed up but NOT greasy, more fluffy than that! I'll wait for the US DVD release
