Well the 2008 AFL season is not too far away! The NAB Cup Grand Final is this weekend, the Saints and the Crows are the early season winners and will fight it out for the prize. Then onward to the 'real' footy!!!  

Adelaide Crows are my pick for this weekend.

I like the NAB Cup, I know its not a good competition but by February I'm hanging out for footy season to start. Its something to snack on before the main course!!  

Its s**t but, no one takes it seriously (Including Paul Roos evidently), the 'real' players dont play and it absolutely bombs ratings wise on tv. Im all for pre season games but not some half assed event that is crap. I LOVE footy yet I still cant bring myself to watch a nab cup game, let a lone go and pay to see one.

I also like the NAB Cup coz I live in hope that the Freo Dockers might eventually win something
